Overview¶
Securden NHI Security Platform discovers non-human identities and the secrets they use, and manages certificates through their lifecycle. It is delivered as part of Securden Unified PAM and can be installed on a standard Windows server within your premises, hosted on virtual machines, or deployed on private cloud instances.
The platform comprises two components:
| Component | Description |
|---|---|
| Non-Human Identity (NHI) Management | Discovers non-human identities and secrets across AWS, Microsoft Azure, GitHub, Bitbucket, IIS servers and Linux devices, assigns ownership, assesses risk, and supports rotation and remediation of credentials. |
| Certificate Management | Supports the creation of certificate signing requests, certificate issuance through private and public certificate authorities and ACME providers, certificate renewal, expiry tracking, and certificate deployment. |
Sections that apply only to NHI Management are marked NHI only. Deployments licensed for Certificate Management alone do not require these sections.
This document outlines the architecture, preparatory steps, and prerequisites for deploying the NHI Security Platform in your environment.
